State to carry out random audit of private colleges, ensure no overcharging of feesMumbai: To ensure private colleges are not overcharging students despite the fees fixed by the Fee Regulating Authority (FRA), the state government has decided to do a random audit

    NAAC to reveal how it grades colleges

    ledger of maximum scores it gives colleges and declare, for the first time, the highest marks set aside for each parameter it grades them on. “We will make public all the benchmarks in the interest of transparency,” it said.
